Dr. Mahendra Mohan Gupta

Dr. Mahendra Mohan Gupta (MMG) is the Non-Executive Chairman of JPL (since October 2023) and a pioneer of India’s print media industry with over 60 years of leadership experience. He previously served as Chairman & Managing Director of the Company (2005–2023) and Editorial Director of Dainik Jagran. Associated with Jagran Prakashan since its inception, he has played a defining role in shaping the organisation’s growth and credibility.

Dr. Gupta has held several key national positions including Chairman of UNI, President of INS and ILNA, Board Member and Chairman of PTI, Member of the Press Council of India, and former Rajya Sabha MP (2006–2012). He currently serves on the Executive Committee of INS and the Board of PTI. In recognition of his contribution to media leadership and public life, he was awarded an Honorary PhD by Jharkhand Rai University in 2018.

Shailesh Gupta

Mr. Shailesh Gupta is a Whole-time Director of JPL and has been on the Board since 1994. With over 35 years of experience in the media industry, he has held leadership roles including President of The Indian Newspaper Society (INS) and Chairman of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). He currently serves on the Governing Councils of INS and ABC, is Vice Chairman of the Media Research User’s Council (MRUC), and is a Director on multiple media and real estate boards. In 2017, he was nominated by INS to the Board of WAN-IFRA.

Ruchi Gupta

Ruchi Gupta serves in an advisory role at VRSM Enterprises LLP, bringing a thoughtful, people-centric perspective to strategic decision-making. Her guidance supports long-term thinking, balanced judgment, and values-driven outcomes across the organisation.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, which informs her understanding of human behaviour, relationships, and organisational dynamics.

Vedant Gupta

Vedant Gupta is a Partner at VRSM Enterprises LLP, with active interests across hospitality, real assets, and financial investments. He is the Founder of V Escapes and V Estates, focused on developing premium, experience-led assets across luxury hospitality, villas, and concept-driven developments.

He leads strategy, concept development, asset creation, and brand building, guided by a long-term vision centred on quality, longevity, and sustainable value.

Vedant completed his schooling in Singapore and pursued higher education in the United States, graduating from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with academic exposure across Boston and California.

Karina Gupta

Karina Gupta plays an advisory role at VRSM Enterprises LLP, supporting leadership on strategic and business initiatives. She is also actively involved in her family enterprise, Gemini Exports, a leading Indian exporter of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) serving over 30 countries globally.

At Gemini Exports, Karina leads Egypt and Emerging Markets, driving market strategy, partnerships, and business development across key international regions.

She completed her schooling in Singapore and graduated from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business.
